Most ROI calculators hand you a number you can’t check. This one only ever works on the figures you enter: your clinicians, your ward consults, the minutes you spend documenting now, and your own estimate for after. The arithmetic is shown in full, and the only figure aurii stands behind is the one you measure on your own ward.
documentation time your practice could redirect to clinical work, on your figures.
Based on 4 minutes less per consult, across 30 consults per clinician each week and 4 clinicians. Your own figures, on a 46-week year.
30 consults × 4 clinicians × 4 min saved ÷ 60 = 8 hours / week
“Min saved” is your minutes now minus minutes after aurii, both of which you set above. The yearly figure multiplies the weekly hours by 46 working weeks, a plain constant you can adjust in your own spreadsheet. We show the working so you can check every step.
Our position This is your own estimate from the numbers you enter. aurii makes no guarantee of time saved; the only figure we stand behind is what you measure in your own practice. The arithmetic above is all this tool does: it multiplies your inputs and divides by sixty. It isn’t a forecast, a benchmark or a promise. The only aurii number on this page is the price, and it sits below.
The price side of this maths.
The hours above are yours to estimate. The price is the one number we set, so here it is, in full, with nothing to reverse-engineer.
That is A$218.90 charged per clinician each month with GST itemised, or A$1,908 + GST a year (paying annually keeps A$480 + GST in the practice). One plan, no tiers, no feature gates. Access is by request while we onboard clinicians in small batches.
- At 30 ward consults a week, roughly 130 a month, that is about A$1.55 a consult.
- Every reclaimed hour you worked out above is, at a 15-minute consult, room for up to four more patients, or an earlier finish. That trade-off is yours to make, not ours to promise.
- Want it in dollars? Multiply your reclaimed hours by whatever you value a clinical hour at. We won’t pick that rate for you, and we quote no rebate figures: the number is yours.
Where the minutes actually go.
The “minutes per consult” you entered usually isn’t one task. It’s several, stacked up after the round.
- Note The progress noteTyped up from memory or scribbled notes after you’ve left the bedside, often hours later.
- Letters The GP & referrer lettersCorrespondence redrafted from the same consult, then chased to the right inbox.
- Billing The billingMatching the item to the encounter: easy to defer, easy to lose, easy to under-capture.
- Discharge The dischargePulled together at the end of an admission from notes written across days.
aurii drafts each of these from what you say at the bedside, and a named specialist reviews and signs before anything is final. We won’t tell you how many minutes that is for you. That’s exactly what your own “after” estimate, and a trial on your own admissions, are for.

Now measure it for real.
Run aurii on your own admissions and the “after” stops being an estimate. That’s the only number worth trusting.
