Aurii is a small team building clinical documentation for Australian doctors. We do not post vacancies we do not have. What we keep open are two standing expressions of interest, for the two kinds of people who make the product better.
Software engineer.
The product is one record captured at the bedside: the note, the letters, the billing and the discharge drawn from the same consult. The codebase is a TypeScript monorepo. The web app is Next.js 15 and React with Prisma over the clinical data model, and a SvelteKit 2 and Capacitor wrapper ships the iOS and Android apps. Hosted in Australia.
What you will do
- Build across the record: capture, notes, correspondence, billing and discharge.
- Work in the Next.js and React web app, with Prisma over the clinical schema.
- Ship the native iOS and Android apps through the SvelteKit and Capacitor wrapper.
- Treat the audit trail, access control and encryption as product surfaces.
- Put your work in front of the specialists using it in the 2026 pilot.
What you need
- Strong TypeScript in production.
- Depth in React, Svelte or both.
- Care for correctness in software where a wrong note has consequences.
- Comfort owning a problem end to end in a small team.
- The right to work in Australia.

Aurii drafts; the specialist signs. Holding that boundary takes working clinicians in the room. We work with GPs and specialists who advise on the product: how a consult should be captured, how a letter should read when it lands, and where software must stay out of clinical judgement.
What you will do
- Pressure-test the record, the capture and the discharge against real clinical days.
- Review letters and discharge summaries from the receiving end, as the GP or referrer.
- Advise on where drafting helps and where it must stay out of the way.
- Give the team direct feedback that shapes the roadmap.
What you need
- Current registration to practise medicine in Australia.
- Active practice as a GP or a specialist.
- A working interest in how documentation, correspondence and billing move through your day.
- The willingness to say plainly where the product is wrong.
